Ballyhooly, Short Loop East

Category: Country Walks
Difficulty: Moderate

Starting at the Castle Tavern, walk toward Rathcormac, turning left at the Avondhu Way way-marker. You will cross a metal bridge over a stream, taking you into a lovely wood which parallels the Blackwater River, heading east toward Fermoy.

The walk winds its way through the woods until, eventually, it exits at the main road.

Turn right here and return along the road to the Castle Tavern and your starting point.
